We have Sunday school for Kinder to 5th grade. They’ll be excused to go to Sunday school after the first worship song and then they’ll come join us for the Eucharist. As we are still in the process of building our children’s ministry, we don’t have childcare for children younger than Kindergarten, but we’re working on that.

We go through the liturgy from Rite II from the Book of Common Prayer. The music is a mix of hymns and modern praise music. Our liturgy is about an hour and ten minutes long and it starts at 10am.
We celebrate the sacrament of the Eucharist each, and every, Sunday.

What is an Episcopalian?
The Episcopal Church is a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion, with 70 million members in 163 countries. We are a community of Christians bound together by our belief that the Holy Scriptures contains the very core of all Christian faith. Through the many ancient, as well as modern, stories that connect us to Jesus and his teachings, we discover God’s daily.
We belong to the Episcopal Diocese of Texas. To learn more about our Episcopal tradition by clicking here. -
What is the Book of Common Prayer?
At the heart of all Episcopal worship is the Book of Common Prayer (BCP), and within it the principle weekly service is the Holy Eucharist — also known as Holy Communion. Our service guides — on the TV screen — are straight from the BCP in an easy to follow format. A calendar of readings from the Scriptures, called the Lectionary, lays out which biblical passages are read each Sunday. Typical services will mix readings, prayers, songs (both hymns and modern worship music), and a sermon. In every case, the congregation participates extensively in worship — singing and speaking prayers, the creed (statement of our beliefs), responses and psalms (sacred poems). BCP provides a fixed framework, but not a rigid one. The details vary from church to church and are a matter of tradition and preference. If you want a copy of the BCP for personal use, let us know and we’ll get you one!

Who can receive Communion?
All baptized people are welcome and encouraged to share in Holy Communion regardless of denomination or background. As Episcopalians, Communion is one of the most sacred things we do and we are honored to have you participate.
